If you’re coming to Holland and you like beer, you’re in a really good spot.

For a town this size, the brewery scene is surprisingly solid — and the best part is, most of them are right downtown and easy to walk between.

I run a local brew tour here, so I spend a lot of time in these places. These aren’t just Google picks — these are the spots I actually recommend when friends come into town.

New Holland Brewing (The Anchor)
This is the big one. If you’ve heard of Holland beer at all, it’s probably because of New Holland.

The vibe is a little more energetic, the beer list is deep, and they’ve got everything from easy drinkers to heavier stuff. It’s a great starting point.

Big Lake Brewing
This one feels more laid back. Good food, solid beer across the board, and a nice place to actually sit and hang for a bit.

Our Brewing Company
A little more low-key and local. If you want something that feels less touristy, this is a great stop.

Brewery 4 Two 4
This is outside of the Downtown waslkable breweries, but in my opionin the best brewery in Holland. Their creative beer and small footprint make this a perfect stop while you are in Holland. You should probably get a pizza delivered from next door while you are there.

Hops at 84 East
Technically more restaurant + brewery, but worth mentioning. Great spot if you’re mixing food into your stops.

How to Experience Most Without Overthinking It

If you’re sticking to downtown, most of these are easy to walk between. If you’re trying to hit multiple spots without worrying about routes, timing, or who’s driving, that’s exactly why I started running a guided brew tour here in Holland.
